Hello there good fellows!

We would like to wish you a lovely Christmas and New Years, and hope that you take it easy and don't concern yourself with any worrysome matters.
Do keep in mind the pigs, chickens and turkeys. I imagine that their Christmas's are not such fun.

We have a couple of shows early in the year, and then our National Tour, which we are excited about. We will be visiting a few places we haven't been before which will be very nice.

8th Jan            Dux De Lux, Christchurch with Le Mot Cafe, Free and starts 8.30pm

10th Jan         Arts Centre for Lazy Weekend concert, Christchurch. Weather permitting
                         starts 2.30pm

Ragamuffin Children are back in Christchurch after a stint in Wellington recording their second album..They are playing a show on Saturday 13th December (This Weekend!) with The Eastern.

It will be at the Wunderbar in Lyttelton.
Starting at 9.30pm.

Tour dates for their album release in January/February/March will be up soon.
 
Module and Muffins

Hello,
We have a show coming up at Bodega next Friday (21'st November)
Module is kicking things off with some ambient piano music which will
be followed by a set from us, We will be playing with a full line up
hopefully...and there will be a couple of new songs in there..
Including two that we have recorded for the new album.
The recording/mixing sessions at The Surgery will be completed next
Friday so this will be our celebration show..
To finish off the night Module will be playing an electronic set.

Wellington Shows & Recording

We are in Wellington at the moment recording an album with Lee Prebble..
Currently while I am sitting here Tui is singing backing vocals for 'Teatime'... It is sounding very nice.

I have put a blog up about the recording so far with a few pictures, so have a look if you would like.

We are playing tonight at Mighty Mighty (On Cuba Mall).
It's our first show back in Wellington since our overseas adventures...

We will be playing twice more while we are in Wellington so if you can't make it along tonight then perhaps you could come to Bodega on the November 21st or to The Southern Cross on Saturday afternoon on the 29th November.

We will put up more details about those shows soon.

We  have had a website in the planning for a while now,so we  are pleased to welcome you to our brand new site!

We will be updating it with news, blogs, photos and up coming gigs regularly, and our webdesigner will be putting up bits and pieces over time to make the site look interesting.

We have a few pieces of news you might be interested in.

Our song 'So Far Away' is currently being played on Air New Zealand flights until December. So if you happen to be flying soon, perhaps you might hear it.

We have been travelling for the past three-four months overseas, which has been an amazing experience. We have stayed with some interesting and lovely people, many musicians and artists. You can read about some of our trip in our myspace blog..

Now that we are back we are working on the album design and instrumentation for an album we will be recording with the help of Creative New Zealand funding in November.
So expect a few shows in Wellington while we are there!
